I took progesterone pills during that time, and I didn't seem to have any side affects. I do know that vaginal suppositiories should actually have little or no side affects since it does not travel through the digestive system. I always use first response, but have never tested earlier than one day before missed af. Good luck, and I would retest in a few more days....:)
Well, the progesterone does cause symptoms for most women. And for all those that I've known that took the same ones as you they did experience symptoms.
Wait until your period would usually be due and test then. If you want to play it safe you can test at 16dpo. At that point you should know for sure. Then, if you get a negative you stop the progesterone. If you want to be "really" sure you can always have your doctor do a blood test. But that is how you find out if you are pregnant or not. Chances are you won't get your period until you stop the progesterone, though it isn't true for everyone. But most of my friends have had to stop the progesterone to bring on their periods.
My progesterone gave me all the classic symptoms of pregnancy before it was even possible for me to be pregnant. Sore breasts, bloated feeling in lower abdomen, etc. So I don't think you can tell until the beta hCG level rises enough to show up in a test. Different hormone, progesterone won't do anything to a home pregnancy test, only hCG will. Good luck!
me and my husband were trying to conceive for 9 months with no luck. i finally had just given up and didn't think about it a whole lot. well one day after work i took a nap and had a dream i was in an icecream place that was getting ready to close. i got a carry out cup that looked like a popcorn container and started filling it up with all the icecream toppings lol when i woke up i really wanted that container. i immeditatly took a test. sure enought it was very faint but positive!i havent felt pregnant at all and i am know 21 weeks. the only thing different was i was really tired the 1st trimester, and i would dream every night and they were very weird but very vivid.the dreams are all i am having know. and every once in awhile ill feel a kick.congrats and good luck to you.
Thanks for all your input--you helped me NOT to lose hope. I woke up this morning with, I swear, a 1/2 size Cup bigger boobs. In one week, I feel as if I have gone up a full size! I don't know if it's the progesterone or if I am pregnant, but I am saying a little prayer for pregnancy.
My nausea also comes and goes. I got really dizzy in the shower this morning, like it was too hot. (I love hot tubs, saunas, etc., so that's weird for me!)
I also had my af on 10/9 but received a positive result on 10/25 I don't knwo how but sure did. my hcg is almost 1400 now. I must of ovulated right after my af ended. I just started the pregesterone so I don't have any side effects from it. I receive injections. good luck to you
Praying it's a BFP for you!
