IM HAD MY TUBES CUT TIED AND BURNT ABOUT 3YRS AGO. BUT IM FIXEN TO GET MARRIED TO A WONDERFUL MAN I HAVE HAD FOUR CHILDREN PREVIOUS ONE VAGINAL AND THREE C-SECTIONS AND ALL HAVE BEEN GIRLS NOW I WANT TO HAVE A BOY WITH MY SPECIAL SOMEONE CAN IT BE DONE BY SURGRY I WAS TO I COULD WHAT SHOULD I DO AND WHAT KIND OF DOCTOR SHOULD I TALK TO. You can do some things by surgery to increase your chance of having another child, but unfortunately none are guaranteed, and none guarantee a boy.  Also, none are covered by most insurance.  The best of these possibilities is in-vitro fertilization (IVF).  Be ready to spend twenty to thirty thousand dollars on that option.  Success rate to get pregnant and take home a baby is somewhere between 50% and 85%, depending on a lot of factors including the medical stringency of the clinic's procedures.  Second best is to have your tubes reconstructed.  The cost is said to be around $5,000 to 6,000.  Risk is high of having a tubal pregnancy after the procedure due to the scarring in the tube where it is reconnected.  I have heard there is an IVF clinic somewhere that advertises sex selection, but doing so for non-medical reasons is considered ethically questionable, so one might want to scrutinize the ethics of a place that advertises this.
