TWINS!!!

I just found out today at 5w4d that I am having TWINS.  I just had a m/c on 10/16, and never had a period in between.  The doc thinks I ovulated twice...one baby is at 5w5d and the other at 5w3d.  My last m/c was my second loss...I had a stillborn dd at 40weeks.  So now after two years of trying again I am doubly blessed.

I had a feeling that I was carrying two b/c at only 16dpo my hcg levels were 1618, and at 22dpo they were 17,447!!!  So today my u/s confirmed two babies, two fluttering little hearts, and two sacs which means FRATERNAL...hopefully a boy and a girl, b/c I already have a three year old son, which gives him a playmate, and me the little girl I've always wanted, but I will take whatever God sends my way.

Oh my gosh that is great.  It brought tears to my eyes.  I was kind of hoping for twins this time but, so far there is only one heartbeat, just as long as it is a healthy happy baby I don't care how many or what it is.  Good luck!

My doc said they were fraternal b/c the sacs are pretty far apart, but thanks for the info I didn't know that.
