Just wanted to see how you are holding up after the baby shower.  Hope all went well and you did not upset you too much.  I can't say that I understand how you feel, but I understand why you feel that way you do and I can not blame you one bit.  It is great that you are trying to make the best of what has happened and are not really blaming anyone.  Things will definetly turn around and work out for the best.  Did AF come yet?  I hope not!  I know you have a doc. appt tomorrow, please let me know what happens.  I will be praying for you as I have been since I have met you.  I have a feeling this may be the month for you. :)  Keep me posted.

Oh Marisa - I needed to hear this today! Thank-you! Yes the shower went well but was extremely difficult. My sister received so many wonderful gifts and was so thoughtful towards me. Some of our friends even brought me flowers to express their thoughts. Most were even surprised I hosted the event for my sister - but whether I went through what I did or not, she deserves the very best. I only had one moment that I had to escape for a few minutes but my mother came and comforted me.

My doctors appointment went well this morning. He explained that he hadn't seen an omplahocele as large as our baby boy had and that he would have had so many operations. There was also another lady that week who found our her baby had an omphalocele too and he told me that she is carrying on with her pregnancy and the little baby isn't as severe as Kai was so he stands a great chance for survival and a normal life. I'm so relieved, I wouldn't want another person to go through this! The doctor also gave us the go ahead to start trying again (officially!). I also finally got my period this morning (eventful day!) and I feel like there is a little more closure. I miss him and I think I always will but hope is on the horizon. My sister is starting to have contractions and I'm going to concentrate on her. We'll have our chance soon (I hope!). How are you feeling? Is he kicking you yet??!!! Thank-you for thinking of me...
