Test results

I am a proud mother of a gorgeous little 21 month old girl and am now trying to get pregnant after being diagnosed with endometriosis. I got pregnant immediately with my daughter and do not see any reason that I would not get pregnant right away again. Suffice the endometriosis, which they tried to remove what they could 3 months ago. I believe I ovulated somewhere from the 2nd of June to the 6th of June. LMP: 5-23-03. (I don't know much about all the days, etc and I have never known when I ovulated. No signs that they say to look for???) I have been feeling different and a little nauseated so I took a blood test June 17th, which came up negative. HCG levels were a 2 and you must be a 5 to be pregnant. The girl at my OBGYN that gave me the script said that it may be too soon, she did not know and did not know if I got a neg if that would mean that I still could be. The girl that gave me my results said that I definatly am not this month. BUT I feel pregnant! Could this test have been done too soon? When should I try a home test?

If i am reading this right, you have not missed a period yet? You said you got your blood test done on June 17 and it was negative, that is next week still?????  I know you didnt mean May 17 cuz your LMP was the 23 of May.  Anyway, a blood test would show up + about 10 days after ovulation and a HPT would be + around the time your cycle should start or if you Ovulated late, then about a week or 2 after when it should have begun.  If I were you and had not missed a period, I would just wait until to you before you worry or take any tests.  Sorry if I misinterpreted your question in any way!

Sorry! I am sitting here looking at the calender and am a week ahead. I took the blood test on the 10th of June, not the 17th. And yes I have not even missed my period yet but I am so excited and impatient. So this means that the blood test would show negative because I am too soon? I was reading other questions from before and they appeared to be saying that your levels do not rise until end of 3- beginning of 4 weeks? I am just having alot of syptoms (symptoms) already and I never had any with my daughter. I do not know if I just am thinking about it too much or what but I am tired, nauseous, slight nipple sensitivity, and stomach cramping. Please let me know anything that would help. Thanks

I just went to another website that has an ovulation calendar on it and with the LMP being 5-23 you would have ovulated on 6-6. So it has not been 10 days so it may be to early to tell. I would wait about another week before I was tested again.
