Thick discharge or mucus plug? ( Sorry TMI)

Just wondering if anyone else is having this.  Since I have been preggo I have had lots of discharge that is thin and watery, I have even been to the Dr. 2 months ago because I thought I could be leaking amnotic fluid there was so much ( I was not) but for the past 2 days I am having very thick whitish yellow mucus stuff.  Do you think this is just discharge or could this be part of my mucus plug?  I am 33 weeks.  Feel free to use this as a open fourm.

I have the same exact thing and it's just a discharge. Sometimes it even comes out in small gushes. My dr says it's normal. you may want to check with your's also. I don't know what a mucus plug looks like or what it feels like.

Yesterday I had a little gush of it where I felt something warm, like I peed my self and went to the bathroom and had lots of the thick discharge stuff.  Thanks for your post it makes me feel better that someone else is having this too and I am not just gross!

Im 39w3d and i have quite thick discharge aswell.. i always wonder if its part of my plug. Its not stringy or blood tinged, just very white and watery.. i wouldnt kno what its like to lose a mucus plug as this is my first baby.  If it is my plug ill be happy.. just playin the waiting game from here on in.

Hi there! It's been a long time since I've been on here. I hope you're still doing great! I'm scheduled for my 20 week ultrasound next week. I'm planning on taking my 7 year old ds with us so he can see the baby moving around. He's so excited!

I think you're just having some normal discharge. I've been getting a LOT of it lately. If you were losing your mucus plug it would be brown or red tinged. I read this off of msn health (http://health.msn.com/general/articlepage.aspx?cp-documentid=100050697):

During pregnancy, a thick plug of mucus blocks the cervical opening to prevent bacteria from entering the uterus. When your cervix begins to thin and open, this plug may be discharged. You may notice stringy mucus or a thick discharge. It's typically brown and sometimes tinged with blood.

I hope you're feeling okay! When are you due again? My due date was changed from Sept 2nd (my ovulation date) back to my LMP due date of August 29th (no idea why). I figure my baby will come when he/she decides to arrive. That's good enough for me!

I have been looking for you on here.  I thought you must have stoped coming on.  I can't beleive you are already 20 weeks.  What do you think it is going to be?  I am doing good, I am swelling alot and the baby is very low but I have not dialated yet so maybe I will hang on to her for a few more weeks. I am 33 weeks now and I am so ready to have her here.  DD went with me to do a 3D u/s and she loved it.  She even cryed when we left.  I think seeing her sister made her feel like it was real.  Please let me know when you have the big u/s and keep in touch.
