This ? is for harley-girl or anyone else who can answer

I was just wondering if your sign on name had anything to do with Harley's. I was just wondering because my dh got a croch rocket and I have been riding with him a couple of times. Just curious if you are also riding. I am three months pg now and still spotting and did not know if it had anything to do with riding the motocycle. Alot of times my spotting comes after a bm (sorry if TMI). So I figured maybe you called yourself harley-girl because you have one. Just let me know.

Yes, DH and I both have Harley's. NO, I am no longer riding as the doctor did not feel it safe the further along I get in pregnancy. Just next week we were to take a bike trip down South to visit DH family and he is gonna ride his and I get to follow in the SUV. :)  I miss it but would rather be safe than sorry. Also I noticed very early in pregnancy if I hit large bump/pot hole I would get real sharp pains and slight spotting.
So I highly recommend not riding any longer.

Thanks for getting back to me. I think maybe that is why I keep spotting. It sucks though because dh just got the bike. I have been on it 2 times now and everytime after I seem to spot so I guess I should assume that is why. I hope I have not hurt the baby. I had an u/s Tuesday and everything looked good so I guess I better stay off.

No you def did not hurt the baby. They are very protected in there. We just hurt ourselves and our poor ligaments with every bump. :)  You have a lifetime to ride but just a short time to carry the baby.  Do what feels right for you.

I got my first Harley back in 1997. So quite a while now. I LOVE it!!!!

My mom and step dad bought a harley a couple of years ago. They love it. I did not think I would like being on the bike, but its fun. My dh has wanted one for a while now and I kept saying no. I guess I should of stood my ground until after the baby was born. Now he will be on it all the time and that bums me out not to be on it with him. I picked the wrong time to agree to let him have it. Oh well cant do anything about that now.

Where do you live? Does he get to enjoy it all year round?

We live in Tennesse. We just got the bike last Saturday. So he will be able to ride until November. It stays pretty warm here until then. Our baby is due in December. So he's got from now until November to ride. Where do you live.

Just north of Chicago, it gets pretty cold her by the end of Oct and stays that way until April-May.   How far along are you now. I am 11w4d. Due 1-8-07 but hope to deliver Dec 2006.

I am 12 weeks and 2days. Due date is 12-27-06. I also hope that the baby comes in 2006. I already have 2 kids and ds was 2 weeks early and dd was 1 week early. So hopefully this one will be on time or a little early. Is this your first? I think I have read from previous posts that it is. Well I am off to run some errands, I will check back later. Bye.

Yes, this is my first and I am so excited. On 7-29-06 when I am 17 weeks my Mom and Sis are taking me baby shopping!!!! :)
I cannot wait to sucker poor Mom into buying some cool stuff.

That sounds fun. I cant wait till I find out what were having. I feel funny buying stuff right now I figured I would wait. I would of got back to you sooner but my stupid internet keeps acting up. We had a storm. Well take care of yourself.
