Three Hours Glocouse Test

My one hour test glucouse result a little high at 143. Dr. schedule for 3 hours test, will my baby ok if I have a high glucouse?

You will just have to adjust your diet but baby should be fine as long as you take care of yourself.

A lot of people fail the 1 hr glucose test, and go on to pass the 3 hr test... because the first test does not require fasting, the results are somewhat variable... so don't worry!

Your baby will be fine. You will probably pass your 3 hour. They say about 80% of people that fail the first pass the 3 hour.

I failed all of my 1 hours and passed all but one of my 3 hours. (I have 5 babies) If you fail the 3 hour you will be put on a diet to help keep your blood sugar from being too high. I kept my sugars under control with diet and they just watched my babies blood sugars when she was born to make sure they stayed ok.

Oh you poor thing! I had to do the four hour testing cause I forgo not to eat right before, they actualy told me to fast! I had a pb&J for breakfast! I explaned that to them but they figured they should just do the long test to be safe, even though I knew I was fine! Ug! I was so tired and sick by the end!

Can I ask how many weeks you are?
I am 26 wks and they haven't mentioned the test to me yet. Very frustrated with my practice. I'll probably have to tell them to schedule it.

29.5 weeks.  Usually one hour test is taken about 28-29 weeks.
