Thyroid issues interferring with getting pregnant?

Ok, so I'm 24 yrs old, I have a 3yr old son and a year ago I was told i have hypothyroidism. I was prescribed synthroid for it to get it back to normal. I was doing ok with the whole "taking a pill' everyday deal but after a while I would start to forget to take it and then end up taking it later on in the day or just not taking it at all!! I know i know this all sounds like I'm neglecting my body to get it back to normal but for some reason I just can't get it in to my head to take that one pill in the morning!! But seriously, my memory is shot!! I dont know if its because I havent been taking my meds as often as I should or what. But here's the other thing, my husband and I are trying to get pregnant again and we have been trying for the last 6 months and nothing! So I think its my own fault.... Does anyone think this is true? What are somethings I could try? I have an alarm set now everyday on my phone to help me remember and so far it has been working but its only been a week. Last time the doctor checked my thyroid level he said it was super high. So i supposed I just need to remember that pill. Its just sooooo hard!! Any help or advice would be gladly appreciated!!
