What kind of narcotics did they put you on if you dont mind me asking?  My doctor put me on hydrocodone ofr migraines and said it was perfectly fine to take during pregnancy.

I take vicodin for headaches too. I can't help but worry, even though my ob says it's fine. It is in catergory B...

I was on darvocets, morphine, and hydrocodone before, during, and after my surgery; in addition to the general anestetic I was given for the surgery itself.  I was on the medications a total of about 5 weeks, and not minor or once in awhile doses either, every 3-6 hours, and the morphine was every 8 minutes.

My 2nd daughter was horrid on me, and I had migraines all during that pregnancy and my doctors prescribed hydrocone then for them.  She was born a healthy 7lbs 15oz and the only complications were her cord being around her neck and back labor.

Oh I also forgot, I had started the medications when I was about 10 weeks pregnant or less.  Which could be why they are worried the most, not everything was fully formed then like it was at the time of surgery itself, which is why they checked the baby to see if she had a hole in her heart (Thank God she doesn't!)
