Toddler Boy yeast infection??

My son was put on antibiotics 3 days ago for sinuitis.  Last night he developed a red rash between his legs and his penis became very red and swollen.  I am pretty sure the red rash is a yeast infection, but I am concerned about the swolleness of his penis.  Is this a common symptom of a yeast infection?  We are treating it with lotrimin spray.  He screams with pain if we try to apply cream or put on a diaper. Is there anything else we can do?  Thank you..Michelle Gustafson

Have you taken him back to the doctor about this rash. You may need to get a prescription cream for it. The spray my have alcohol in it and it burns when applied. How old is he? The doctor may give you a prescription and suggest you use cloth diapers until it is cleared up.

my son is going to be 2 in a couple of days and just today we have noticed that his penis looks swollen and his foreskin is red. It also looks like there is a discharge coming out. Can any one let me know if they have had a similar experience? Me and my husband are freaking out. This is our first boy and we have all girls so we do not know what it can be.
