Good for you!!  Lily was climbing out at 17mo's so I had no choice. Blake is 14 mo's and goes in Lily's room to climb in, jump in her bed and push her aquarium on the side.  I can't imagine him behaving enough to stay in there to sleep though, ha ha ha!!  It's my theory to keep them in the crib as long as they'll stay :0)  Just for me to keep them put!

My DS is almost 22 mos and we haven't changed over yet.  He flips all over his crib while sleeping and I'm afraid he would flip right out of his toddler bed.  He doesn't climb out of his crib or anything so he'll stay there for now.

we waited until 22-23 months, but mostly because she loved her crib and never tried to climb out. Even then, we had to convince her to try it.

If Aubree is a difficult toddler, and this is working so beautifully, I don't see why you should change it. Just make sure the room is completely baby-proofed, as well as anywhere else she may be able to access if she woke up in the middle of the night.

With Ethan, we got him a race car bed, around the same time. And he did great with it!! If aubree is doing good then let it be!! Only you know when its right  time!! I am just waiting in till Hunter gets a little older, so he can go sleep in his room with his brother!!!

Good for Aubree! I keep thinking about when Jeremiah can transfer over...but right now he is 15 months and with all the renovations in our house and the fact that I know he wouldn't stay in a bed, it's not time for him yet. He's not a climber so he hasn't figured out how to climb out of his crib yet...thankfully! So I am keeping him in there as long as possible. Probably until it's time to move this baby into a crib (which may not be until Jan. or Feb. of next year), we will transition him into a toddler bed.
