Too Soon???

Just this year my 4 yr old has has 2 bouts of low to mid grade fevers, stomach pains,leg pains and vomiting.  The first time she complained of migraine type symptoms and had diarrhea that lasted seven days.  She's got it again with all the above.  What worries me is the leg pains and migraines!  I have a family history of leukemia and cancer and the leg pains are red flags since she has never complained of them or the migraines before when she has been sick. I'm just not sure if I should wait for another episode or just take her in and ask for some blood work.
Since the first time I've been keeping track of her illnesses.  Am I just being an over worried mother??? I live in MI and it's pretty cold and she just started preschool this yr so she's exposed to lots of other kids. As much I run all these facts through my head It just doesn't feel like your run of the mill cold weather fever.

If you are worried, the thing to do is to bring her in, explain your concerns, and let the doctor decide what tests would be indicated at this time.

You are the mom. Go with your instincts.  That's the one really good piece of advice my dr gave me when my daughter was born 6 years ago. I have a little boy on the way and plan on doing the same thing. We know when something isn't right. Take her in they may just say she's got the flu but at least you'll know
