I was diagnosed with toxemia with my son 2 years ago. I had protein in my urineCalcium - urine Calcium urine test Chloride - urine Cortisol - urine Electrolytes - urine Glucose test - urine Hcg in urine Ketones - urine Kidney - blood and urine flow Lh urine test (home test) Ph urine test for months(that was a sign, I guess) then I started to get really high blood pressure but no swelling. They thought I was at risk so the bed ridden me for 4 weeks. I was about 32 weeks preggers. They checked on me every few days, and I still had high blood pressure and protein in my urine. So, at 36 weeks I was finally taken off bed rest, I didn't feel sick at all, I hated being bed ridden. Two weeks later I gave birth to a healthy baby boy. Right after he came out, blood pressure went down and I was fine. Hope everything turns out for the best!!! Be strong!!! I am now 4 wks preggers again, I am worried about it happening again, but I'm so happy to have another angel to raise.
I had pre-eclampsia with my last pregnancy. But I dont know how much I can help because it was only diagnosed in my last week of pregnancy. I went to a normal checkup, blood pressure was high so they sent me to hospital to be induced. The week before going to the dr. I was EXTRA thirsty! Also I gained about 5 pounds that week. The worst came for me after the delivery, My feet and legs were so swollen they honestly looked like pigs feet! Also the magnesium they put you on in the hospital makes you feel like ****. I felt like I had been drugged. It took me about a week for the swelling to go down and to feel normal again. I dont know how the symptoms will effect you at your stage in pregnancy, but it is definitely not comfortable! Best of luck to you! TAKE CARE
i have no clue if this is going to help but i have a friend who had pre-eclampsia and her doctor induced her labor at 32 weeks and delivered a healthy happy baby girl. Granted the baby was in NICU for a few weeks but the baby was breathing on her own and what not. I think you should take whatever advice your doctor has for you... and as far as the pain on your right side are they sure its your liver? it could be a cyst on your ovary well i guess it depends on the location of your pain but i discovered pain on my right side and it ended up being a cyst. anyway i dont really know if this will help or not but good luck and god bless. stay positive
I had preaclamsia with my second baby. I went into a rutine visit and was induced that day at 35 weeks. I was in complete denial of my symptoms, I was so swollen you could stick your finger into my foot and it would stay indented for 15 minutes, and I saw the flashes of light around my eyes! I had lots of protien in my urine and high blood pressure so they were worried about my liver and ceasers. Shortly after I was put on pitocin I was informed that my blood platelets were low so I wouldn't be aloud to have the epideral I planned on. So I was hot and thirsty and bed ridden from the magnesium! Crazy how you can never plan on anything with pregnancy! My nurses took great care of me and Opal was born 4.7 lbs and in the nicu for 9 days. I don't want to do that again!
