Treatment for Yeast Infection

Hi ladies,
Just wondering what otc medications are safe for treating a mild yeast infection. I have no itchiness or anything, but my Dr discovered a lot of yeast at my PAP (sorry for TMI).
She said to pick up some monistat, but the package insert for the ovules (which I assume is what she wanted me to use) said to use only under the advice of a physician if pregnant. Are there other treatments? I have only treated one other yeast infection, and that was years ago.
I would feel pretty stupid calling her to ask this (which is why I am asking you guys!)
Any suggestions? Because it's not really bothering me, I would prefer a natural treatment if one existed.

Did your Dr tell you to use Monistat????  I am assuming he/she knows you are pg and they would not tell you to take something unsafe.  You could always ask the pharmasist as well.  Good Luck.

I had to treat several yeast infections in both pregnancies - clotrimozole (which is in monistat or canestan) is considered safe during pregnancy!  If you have no symptoms, according to my dr., you should not treat, though. Good Luck

I had a yeast infection at the end of my last pregnancy and the Dr. told me to use the 7 day monistat.

I was prone to getting them when I was pregnant with my DS (6yrs old).  My dr had me take Diflucan.  31 Weeks now and so far none !!  :)
I don't know what class Diflucan is but he's fine.
