Trying to get pregnant...

Hi!! I am new to this but me and my fiancé have been trying to get pregnant for almost two years now. The first year we weren't as devoted to trying to conceive but the past 8 months we have really been wanting a baby and have been trying. We always thought the reason I couldnt get pregnant was because he had cancer as a child and went through chemo. Doctors always said he would most likely be infertile but I had him get a semen analysis done and they said his sperm count was above average. I'm a little nervous about going to a fertility specialist because of the expense. Any advice, support, or helpful hints about trying to conceive naturally would be greatly appreciated! :)

Hi!
Try close to ovulation. How to know you have ovulated: Count back 14 days from the next expected due date of period, this gives the approximate date of ovulation in the present cycle. Some women get a spotting with ovulation and others get cramps. Almost everyone experiences an increase in white discharge around ovulation. There is always a rise in the basal body temperature (taken first thing in the morning before getting out of bed) around ovulation. There are ovulation tests available in market which you can use. Once you do this exercise for a month or two, you can know the fertile period well and should try during this time—3-4 days before to two three days after ovulation. Place a pillow under the hip while having sex. Let your partner gently pull out. Immediately push your knees up to your abdomen. This will increase the pelvic tilt. Remain like this for 5 mins and then stay in bed with pillow under the hips for 15-20 minutes. Then only remove the pillow. This will help make the maximum sperms move up. If this fails, you will need to consult an infertility specialist. Hope this helps. Take care!
