Twins with Irregular Gestational Sac?

by Rojo611, Oct 15, 2008 09:26AM
I just had my first ultrasound yesterday at 6w1d and the doctor found two heartbeats! The heartbeats were in one sac which means they would be identical, but high risk.  My sac was also very irregular shaped and I was told I have a very high chance of miscarrying.  Has anyone else had anything similar to this?  And did the pregnancy work out?  I am supposed have a second ultrasound in a week so I am hopeful that the shape of my sac will have changed! Thanks!
