Tylenol PM- safe to take?

by baboojamaica, Jan 03, 2008 10:50AM
I am almost 39 weeks pregnant and am SOOOOOO sleep deprived.  I have not taken ANY medication since I found out I was pregnant.  I know Tylenol is on my list of OK drugs to take, but I wondered if PM was ok.  Any input ladies??

If it werent for tylenol pm i would never sleep.  it was on my approved list of meds to take.  so i think you should be okay.

yes, but also unisom. Tylenol pm is for pain w/sleeplessness. Unisom is just for sleeplessness and I swear I wake up refreshed not like Tylenol. For some reason I feel "hungover" w/Tylenol PM. Maybe it's just me ;) WOW 39 weeks, it was just yesterday you got pregnant. Geeze, and I'm 20.1 I can't wait for you to have this baby!

That is awesome.  It truly is one of the only REAL surprises left!  Is it an elective c-section?

by kellym, Jan 03, 2008 12:43PM
No, my 15mo dd was a c-section at the last minute and a lot of Dr.'s these days don't do VBAC's. C-Sections aren't bad at all. They reallllly clean you out good and the bleeding in minimal.

That's awesome.  My Dr told me I had a very small pevis and structure, but we wouldn't know if i needed a c-section until I start pushing!!!!!!!!!
