I've given them the jar foods the ex. veggies, mixed veggies but it seems like that is really getting boring to them. Any ideas will help

Maybe pm pertykitty.  I remember not too long ago she posted about making homemade baby food.

I remember when AJ started getting bored he was ready for food he could pick up a bit.  We got the gerber puffs and broke them into 3 or 4 pieces.  You could always take them to the next step food where they mix things together.  I'm not sure that it gets too much more interesting for a 6 month old.

im not an expert but foods are introduced at different ages. at 6 months id not get too wild yet, the basic carrots, green beans, peas, squash.   www.wholesomebabyfood.com was a great site that helped me figure out when some foods should be introduced.  they say that avocado is great so i finally tried it.  i pureed it with green beans and it was good! i would eat it lol.
