Well, I went for my firstFirst progesterone mc10 First progesterone mc5 First-progesterone vgs 100 First-progesterone vgs 200 First-progesterone vgs 25 First-progesterone vgs 400 First-progesterone vgs 50 First-testosterone First-testosterone mc ultrasound today, becuase i haven't had my period since 31 August. The ultrasound results show that I am in early pregnancy. I compared to some u/s pics on the net and it looks like about 5 or 6 weeks. BUT, last time hubby and I did 'the deed' was around October 20th (we had a dry spell due to fighting), so I MUST have conceived around then, which would put me at around 8 weeks. The u/s tech didn't show me everything she saw; all I got to see in the u/s was the yolk sac; no embryoCea. I know this two week discrepancy doens't seem like much, but I was really hoping to see a tiny figure this morning on the screen! So I am confused because the u/s and likely conception period do not match.
You really can't, as a lay person, try to compare what you see on the internet with what the EXACT measurements are that the tech takes at the time of the actual ultrasound, done on YOU and YOUR fetus.
Go by what YOUR ultrasound says. A discrepancy of several weeks is huge if done early in pregnancy. Your doctor is the best one to try to figure out what and why there is a discrepancy, if in fact the actual report seems to indicate one.

Good luck!
