I had a scan last tues when I thought I was 6weeks. Turns out I was 5w3d and the sac was visable also the heartbeat. I think sometimes it can depend on the doctors equipment as well. Good luck I hope you get to see your little one next time.

they say that you should be able to see something once your levels hit 2000 but i don't think that is always the case i had a scan at 6 wks my levels were 1400 they didn't see anything except a gestational sac and yolk sac then i had another one at 7 weeks and my levels were well over 2000 and still no baby then at almost 8 wks is when they found the baby and h/b and i am now going on 34 weeks.

Now I'm confused after these posts. I went in for my first appt. and I was  a little over 4 weeks, he saw a sac but nothing inside, but what's worrying me is that my  hcg levels were at 4000...someone here just posted that they saw the heartbeat at 5 weeks.
