ive been told around 6weeks you can see the sac and sometimes the egg.

but some people have u/s as early as 4weeks! think you can only see the sac that early though :)

I had my first u/s at 5 weeks and saw the heartbeats--twins.

Most docs like to wait to 6 weeks to make sure heart is beating - it starts some time in the 5th week
before that you may see a sac or fetal pole - but the heartbeat is what they are looking for for viability
