Umbilical cord or penis?

Umbilical cord or penis?

6764685?1300998026
Hi there,

I just had an ultrasound a couple of weeks ago at 18 weeks and was told they think it is a boy, but they could not be sure.  The picture I was told has his bottom cheeks and then the penis.  My question is how can I be sure this is a penis?  It doesn't seem to have an end to it and seems to keep going (i.e. umbilical cord) and it seems really big compared to the bottom.  There are some lines (hamburger sign) just before the cord or penis too.  This is just definately not a typical turtle looking penis to me.  Any thoughts would be really helpful.  Let me know if you have trouble viewing the picture.

Thanks!

It doesn't look like a penis to me (far too big in my opinion). It almost looks like one of the babies legs... It's really hard to tell. It looks too thick at the bottom, and as it goes out it gets thinner. Are you having another scan done?

I hope to have another scan in about 8 weeks, but that is far away so I was trying to prepare now, LOL :)
