I had a sinus infection a couple weeks ago and my doc put me on amocicilian. He said it is perfectly fine during pregnancy, I am always worried about taking anything at all so i was really weary about taking the prescription! My sinus infection went away within a couple days and the baby is still perfectly fine!
My Dr put me on that when I was pregnant.

I recently had tonsilitis and my doctor prescribed me amoxillin. its perfectly safe and is a class A drug. (class A is the safest for pregnant women). I am 21 weeks now and my baby is perfectly healthy :)
Yes, amoxicillin is safe to take during pregnancy. I have taken it when I was in my first trimester with my first child in 2001; and so have many other friends I know who have taken this anti-biotic during their pregnancies.
I was given amoxicillin at 7w1d for a bad tooth that needed a root canal. Which I opted to wait on the root canal until the baby is born. I am now 20w2d and everything is great. Take care
