My dr just called me back about the progesterone level and said that a 7.7 was FINE for a clomid cycle. I told him that everything I had read indicated that a natural cycle should be more than 10 and with clomid more than 15. He said that 7.7 indicated ovulation and that if if was high enough to ovulate, it was high enough to sustain a pregnancy. I don't know whether to trust him or seek a second opinion. Has anyone ever heard this before? Please, I need advice quick. Thanks!
My doctor tells me anything over 10 indicates ovulation. Even when my progesterone was 9.8, he told me I most likely did not ovulate that cycle. The only exception would be if they drew your blood too early. What CD did they do it?
I really think it should be higher than that, even it your blood was drawn one day early. Is your doctor willing to increase your dose, or switch you to Femara? You might ask him about it.
i had 78 progesterone on my 21day of cycle i was on clomid but unsuccessful to get pregnant... i m surprised y my progesterone is too high then the other women who r on clomid...
