Useless Diaper!

this is the 4th night in a row where dominic wets EVERYTHIGN while hes sleeping. im about to wash he sheets yet again this week. he gets changed before bed. when he wakes up (now 2am) then he goes back to sleep around 5am SOAKING WET! diapers are the right size but ugh

SIDE NOTE: doctor said i have to go to a urologist because his uretha is at a 90 degree angle rather than vertile (i guess 180 degrees) so they are going to do surgery on it to fix it. so i dont kno if that has ANYYTHING to do with this everything-wetting or not

Put a super Kotex inside the diaper at night.  Or put a folded cloth diaper in there at night.  There is a great product called Diaper Doublers, but some ladies here say they can't find it.

I hate that he has to have surgery.  I'm with you, I don't know that it has anything to do with the sudden wetting.

hmmmm... I am not sure if it has something to do or not.... but sounds to me like he pees a lot?....
Maddie was wetting the bedding too while using the parent's choice diapers... I hated those things! then i spent more on huggies (huggies nights... or something like that) and voala! that baby girl can pee all she wants at night, and those things man... they are AWESOME!
Have you tried those? they are a little costly but worth every penny if you hate changing and washing sheets every day...

What size is he using?

I know of a lady that would stick a feminine (overnight ones) pad in the diaper!! lol... and swore by it!

hey vanessa, I use huggies too and I love them, dont know if you have a **.s there but they sell the huge boxes for pretty cheap, I also always get 5 dollar coupons from huggies

he always wears huggies i have seen the night ones.....or overnights...but i always see them in size 5 but hes a 4 : (

for now...i think im going to take peeks advive and use a pad to help beucas this is getting absolutly nuts!

i wonder if huggies overnights come in 4

i found huggies overnight to be the best too, and one size bigger, so try the 5's and try the pads! and buy a waterproof mattress pad.  my daughters always started wetting through the diapers when they needed to go up one size and when they were in a growth spurt.  do you find him eating more?

I would give the Huggies Overnites a try. Before Avery could fit into them I would put a regular diaper on her and a bigger Overnite over top. That worked well for us. I think they do start at 4 but you could always try "double diaping" as I called it. One regular diaper and a bigger Huggies Overnite over top until Dommy fits into the Overnites. Good luck!

Did you mean something like S.ams? or Costco? We went to Frederick the other day and stopped by Cost.co (my parents belong to it in Mex) and we bought a huuuuuge box of them for a steal! I have so many diapers now that I'm afraid she's gonna outgrow them! lol ;)

Yep, I'm with Alikat... every time Maddie has a growth spurt she all of a sudden starts leaking.... that little girl's butt, i swear, she's got daddy's bubble butt!

me on the other hand.... flat as a stick! urgh..... someone can lend me a butt please??

Try one size larger.  I was having the same issues with Jayden, that boy can fill a diaper.  The size he was wearing fit him but at night he would leak.  So I went one size larger and it worked like a charm.  I guess it may look like it fits but the coverage wasn't enough.

he does have a um.....matress pad but hes soaked through through to that so thats going in the wash too. no i dont find him eatting more....wait yes...hes been wakin up at 2am i thought its because hes getting wet or something but he take that extra bottle. hes been having this constant cough that you can hear him up at night with so i dont kno if thats why hes awak or what

Huggies overnights do come in 4 BUT I always used 1 size up than they wear for overnights. Blake is a 3 and he sleeps in a 4 overnight and has peed the bed 2X this week, UGH!  It's that darn night feedings :)

We tried everything too with Brayden.. finally switched him to luvs and bam, no more wetness! And they smell soooo good!

Hey stranger -

Just wanted to say that my boys are in a 4 during the day but in a Huggies overnight size 5 during the night time.  It has seemed to cure our problem  Not sure why they need a bigger overnight, but it works.  

Just a thought!!

I tried one size larger, but then I got to the largest size. My kiddo was wetting everything every night too.  My problem is that he sleeps on his front, the back of the diaper is always dry but the front soaked right through his PJ's and bedding. I now put a mens inncontinence liner in his diaper, it does the trick most nights but we still ocassionally get a wet one.
