Vaginal Infection while pregnant

Ok so I'm worried to death as you girls know I just found out I'm pregnant and I have a miscarriage last October. I had some blood work done a few days ago and the doctor calls today and says I have a vaginal infection which I also had with my pregnancy that ended in a misscarriage. He gave me Vandazole to hopefully clear up the infection. But I'm so scared, I just think its weird that I had an infection when I miscarried. I seem to be prone to infections alot. I'm just praying this pregnancy doesn't end in miscarriage again. I dont think I can handle another one. The doctor also has me on progestrone gel for my first trimester which calms me a little but I'm freaked out about this infection again. Have anyone else had this before? Thanks ladies!

My sister had a vaginal infection while pregnant.  She took the meds, all cleared up and she now has a healthy baby girl.  Try to calm down.  You have done all you can.  You went to the doc and got something for it.  They shouldn't put you on anything that would harm your pregnancy.  Hope everything turns out okay.

Something tells me the infections are due to the pregnancy not the m/c.  I've had 5 kids, pg with 6th, and I got those infections everytime except this time.  Now I'm 6 wks almost 7, and dr cant see baby on u/s.  So, try not to worry, infection I think for some just comes with being pregnant.  Oh- I also go uti's everytime including this time;0
