i had it where my eyes just wouldnt focus at all. and i was dizzy for days and just felt like i was going to pass out. i was also throwing up constantly and i didnt really have morning sickness. i called the doctor and he told me if i cant hold anything down or i do pass out go to the hospital. lots of fluids later it passed. but i have heard that dizzyness can be a sign of different things. i would say call you dctor and they might tell you to come in just to be the on the safeSafe driving for teens Safe sex side. its better to tell them you worries than ignore it.
What is your blood pressurePressure ulcer normally? I stay dizzy a lot and mine is really low. My blood pressurePressure ulcer usually runs 100/70 not pregnant, and now its 86/57 or 90/52. Do you have a way to check yours to see if that may be what it is?
i felt dizzy during pg at about this same stage. i remember asking dr about the dizziness. he said it is normal b/c of the increased blood flow and hormones. i was told that if i also started to experience headaches that didnt go away w/ meds or blurry vision or edema( sweeling and pitting) then call dr. just dizziness can be normal. i would still call and let dr be aware of situation.
I had that really bad towards the end of my pregnancy with Lilith. They gave me motion sickness medication (It only made it tolerable). I would definately talk to your doctor about it, it could be a number of things (they even hospitalized me for it...)
for sure tell your dr but i read in one of my books that this point is big for dizzy spells when standing too fast. try getting up like an old lady lol. poor bops, the dizzy one of the group lol JK!!!!
yep they are right. you need to make an appt. with your doc for a blood pressure check. if that's normal, just keep drenching yourself with fluids. lots and lots of water girl!
Yes, normally I do have a BP that is low..maybe that has something to do w/ it..I notice it is worse at night as well, when I am more tired...although it is morning now and I did not sleep well (daughter was up at 4 am) and I feel dizzy right now..I will give my doc a call or go to my pharmacy and check my bp on there little machine..thank you all!
Sounds like everyone gave good advice -- always best to run new symptoms past your doc.
Just curious -- do you have any seasonal allergies? I had a problem with constant dizziness a while back that was not related to bp, but turned out that it was my allergies. I never had dizziness before when they bothered me so I didn't even think of it, but if you do and couple it w/ congestion in pregnancy it may cause dizziness like someone mentioned by congesting the inner ear.
Just a thought -- hope you feel better soon. Let us know what your doc says.
I was really dizzy last week - actually ended up in L & D it was so bad...and it ended up being dehydration in my case. My doc told me i should be drinking 64 oz of water or watered down juice a day. Otherwise - could be blood pressure...that's why they initially brought me into L & D...they were worried about that.
