I live in WI about and hour north of Milw. I love the snow, but hubby plows. I want to go sledding with my neice and nephew! :] I am in a good mood today from the snow!!

aww i wish i had snow... it would make christmas so much more christmasy.. lol ok so christmasy isnt a word but you guys get it right?  but you know what they say... the grass is always greener on the other side..  the ones who have snow probably dont want it and the ones who dont have it do want it lol

my DH plows too!!!!  We have sleds in the car so just in case (if he is not too tired) we can jump on a hill anywhere after the work is done!!!  Its definitely a mood lifter!!!  Have fun!!

We have a hill near our house and you have to pay but it pulls you back up the hill!! But you still get a workout huffin youself around in all those clothes!! I have some shopping done, took off work tomorrow to do some more! Nothing is wrapped yet either! I'm making Xmas dinner for my family for the first time, any ideas?

No snow on the ground here....it snowed 2 weeks ago and then rained and got sunny so it is all gone.  It is supposed to be sunny the rest of the week and over the weekend!  I hope it snows for Christmas though!  I hate it when we don't have snow over Christmas!  I have only bought one gift so far!  Yikes!  Hubby and I will get it done this weekend though so its all good!

nice!!!  i wish we had a hill like that.  I am terrible.  I have not started shopping yet, nor decorated.  and on the food note...yikes!!!  i am a vegetarian.  I make tons of veggie dishes and pasta and fish!!!  I am an italian/german that craves thai, japanese and vegetarian.  Not very traditional, sorry.

I havent even gone shopping have to do it Fri or Sat!  I am so late at that!  And whoever wants the snow I will ship some to you lol!  I love it around now I agree it makes the outside lights and such just look lovely!  Its almost noon here and only 8 degrees so sledding isnt in our day today way too cold!

We are actually really busy with 3 Christmas parties and my neice's church program all this weekend!! So probably no sledding for us this weekend either! Maybe the week after Christmas, my company does holiday shutdown so I'm off that week. Maybe we'll get a BFP for new year's!

I hope that you get a BFP for new years also!  You must work in an office becuase I do and I only work a half day for the whole week!  Nice!  My husband is a little jealous of my schedule!  It just gives me more time to spend with my sister and nephews as she doesn't work!

I didn't know you were vegetarian.  Me too!  I'm thinking a veggi lasagna for X-mas dinner since it will just be DH & I.  Now on to the snow: I'm in Boston. There's still some snow on the ground from last week's storm, and we are supposed to get more tomorrow night and Friday.  I LOVE the snow.  We have this area near us called the sugar bowl.  It's this big valley-type-thing.  That is THE SPOT to be when it snows.  It's really cool.  I'm hoping Santa brings me a new sled for X-mas since it's not looking like I'l get my BFP.

I have a question about water slides...We go to water parks over Christmas and I am wondering about water slides, I may be pg and I may not be...How bad are they?? They aren't anything too big, mostly tubes and stuff, any ideas anyone? I'm assuming the hot tubs are a definite NO! Thanks a bunch!

Hahah, you are like me!!! I asked for mr potato head or dont break the ice if i dont get my BFP for xmas!!!  Something fun!!!  We have ants in the pants and i rule at that!!!  We have to practice for when the BFP does come and they are ready for all that fun stuff!!!  Good spirit to have!!  mmmm, veggie lasagna.  We do one that has some fresh spinach leaves and red peppers w/ boca italian sausage.  I do 1/2 w/ baby portobellas and we use soy cheese.  DH does NOT like mushrooms.  Have fun!!!

I am not sure about the water slides....but did you hear about the girl that fell from an airplane and found out she was two weeks prego????  What a miracle????  Things like that let me know that my m/c was for the best because things like that are out of our hands.  I know if it was me (in pretty good shape) I would slide, I surf and I surfed during my last pregnancy.

She didn't fall from the airplane - she jumped. :-)  Her parachute got messed up and she hit the pavement face-first at 50 mph.  Now she says she's going again after she has the baby.  Nutcase.    ;-)

Yes I did hear about her, I too know that my m/c was for the best, I look at those people that do crack and stuff during their pg and nothing happens! I think I should be fine! Kudos to you and greenpixie on the vegetarian stuff, I don't think i could do it, I LOVE chicken!

good morning ladies Well here in Sounthern California the Temp. at 6am was about 52  and it is about 68 right now at 10:40am.  This pass weekend we were in shorts and tank tops.  "Pagona"

I a new to this board. I've been reading the posts for a couple of weeks though.  

My husband and I have been TTC#1 for 6mos.  We have had 3 chemical pregnancies in that 3 month time.  I've waited until my missed period before I've tested and usually get an positive hpt on that day, but then my period starts 4 days later.  I've read that a lot of doctors tell you not to take a hpt until you've missed your period for a week.  Ya right! I don't know too many women who have the will power to wait that long!  

Anyway, we went for our first visit with an RE last week.  We've had an HSG done and my husband semen tested.  Everything looked good.  She wants to go straight to clomid and IUI.  She says she won't do clomid without IUI.  She says the reason I am having chemical pregnancy's is because my eggs are just old.  I just turned 36 last week.

My question is do you think she is jumping the gun?  Shouldn't she be doing other types of tests before jumping to IUI?  I was under the assumption that IUI was used for when there was a problem with the sperm.  We obviously do not have a problem with getting pregnant, it's just staying pregnant that's the problem.  I am afraid that we will go through all this and still end up with another chemical pregnancy.    

Any comments would be helpful. Sorry it was so long.

I live outside of Philly so really cold here, as noted in a previous post. My parents moved to Florida in August so my father is having a ball calling to ask "what's the weather like?" he'll then proceed to tell me that he is in shorts and it is 80 there!!

O def!!!  I would test again and BD too!!  the worst that can happen is you are a few dollars shorter in the pocket!!!  Do any of you girls get a craving (for lack of a better word) during your cycle?  like close to ovulation.  well, i get madddddd...like i have to have DH or i will die, the animal comes out in me.  Just wondered if anyone else got that?  so much baby dust to you harleygrl!!!

I would! Like I said before our NFP "teachers" said you can have two o's and you can have two peak days. Usually it is with the second peak day that you O. I think. All this EWCM might be your bodies way of saying "Hello, Im ready!" :) Go with it! You may not have a BFP by Christmas, but what a great way to go into the new year! Best of luck!!!!!!! Also, I think you may have asked this on another post, I have a big low temp drop the day before O. (Like ... 97.5, 97.5 then 96.6, 97.6...)I have been this way on all charts even right off the pill.

I would think that your dr. would try the Clomid by itself, first. That might be all you need to resolve the problem. And I'm no expert, but I don't think the eggs of a 36-yr-old are considered 'old.' If you can afford the IUI, it wouldn't hurt. But you might consider finding a dr. who's willing to try the Clomid by itself first. Sorry, I don't think I told you anything that you didn't already know.

I can ship it but you have to take the cold also!  It hasnt gotten into the double digits all day today.  The highest was 9 degrees.  Ues 9 degrees and we lost our electric for 3 hrs today so we froze for about 2 of those hrs.  I can ship it but it maybe water when it gets to you.....lol!

I'm in NC and we are supposed to get some ice tonight and tomorrow.  I've got my fingers crossed that it will happen since I'm a teacher.  Could use a day off.  :o)  That's what I like about living here... if I want snow, I can just travel a few hours up into the mountains, get my fill and then come back.  No shoveling required.  :o)
