Weight Gain @ 19 wks/ Open Forum

Hey everyone, I will be 19wks on thursday and I was just wondering how much weight you guys have gained. I've gained about 13 lbs. so far. I'm scared im going to go to the doctor tomorrow and hes going to be upset with my weight gain. I'm not swollen and the weight is all gained in my stomach, that's it!! The last time they measured my baby was at 14wks and she weighed a couple ounces more than average then. I am hoping the will do extensive measurements tomorrow just outta curiousity I wanna see how much weight shes gained. I think I've gained 3 or 4lbs in 2wks, which is a lot. I go to the OB  every two wks cause the pregnancy is high risk as is. So yeah, any comments are appreciated. Thanks.

Hi, i wouldn't worry to much, everyone gains weight at different stages!
My sister, and 3 of my friends looked like they were 6-7 months pg when they were just 4months. They were all told they were going to have big babys 10lb's or so and none of them did. They were all around 8lbs born.

I am 18 wks on friday and gained just 2lbs. I'm around 1 half stone over weight, so i'm thinking i'm losing it every where else and just gaining a baby bumb (which is clearly visable)

With my 3 full term pg's i gained on average 2-3 stone. With my first i gained a whooping 5 stone? which was shocking as i was just under 8 to start with, thankfully i did lose it all after baby was born. I was also told my baby's were going to be big, but they were all 8lb's 2oz?

I hope this help's?

I think your fine too, I'm 33w and have gained 48pounds so far.  At 19 weeks I was at about 19pounds.  I average about 7 pounds a month for some reason.  I don't eat the greatest, but I do exercise every day for 30 min.  I think your body is going to gain whatever it needs to.  With my daughter I managed only to gain 25pounds all of which was gone the next day after I had her - go figure.  I am sure that by the time I have my C-Section on June 19 I will be at 55-60pound weight gain.  Crazy - I feel so so fat right now

You will gain what you gain....

I have friends who gained pots of the weight by 19 weeks, and other who didn't start gaining until the 3rd trimester.  If you are eating healthy foods I wouldn't worry in the least.

I am 25 weeks and I have gained 6 pounds.

I'm 19 weeks as well but so far I've lost 5 pounds and stayed right at that weight.  I have another appointment on the 16th so we'll see if I've gained anything in the last 4 weeks from the last appointment.  I'm really not wanting to hit 200 with this pregnancy, I'm at 175 right now.

I'm new here but I'll be 20 weeks on friday and have gained 29 lbs. Lots, but I never get morning sickness, so from the beginning I'm starving. This is my 4th and I gained a lot with all my pregnancies, lost it fast so not too worried.
