What is happening?!?

What is happening?!?

I've read yall's posts a million times and I have to ask a question before I go crazy. Let me explain as easily as possible....I don't really use birth control with my boyfriend of 5 years. In late August, I randomly took a HPT that came out positive (very faint line, but positive). Then some came out negative, then the next day it said positive again. Went to the doctor, blood test said negative. But after 10 days I still wasn't getting my period, so I took 3 more tests that all had faint lines and they all said positive. So I thought I was pregnant right? The next day, I began to bleed heavily and cramp really bad (so bad that I had to leave work) and I bled for 4 days. I probably would have been around 4 weeks pregnant (really really early) I assume it was an early miscarriage. According to my period tracker, I should've started my period 5 days ago. I took a CVS Pharmacy HPT last night that had a faint positive line, this morning I took a First Response test...I can't see a visible line, but when I hold it to the light, I can see a very faint line. At this point I would have been 8 weeks pregnant, shouldn't the HPT show darker lines? Is it even possible to be pregnant after all that bleeding and cramping? It was an unplanned pregnancy, so if I'm not pregnant I won't be completely devastated. I just want to know if I should be getting happy hour drinks with friends or if I should be taking prenatal vitamins at home! Help?!

I think you were pregnant but you miscarried, then you took the hpt test when your body hadn't returned back to its normal state.

wait two weeks and test again it could be that you were pregnant and m/c and your levels will take awhile to return back to normal. Or you could go to a doctors and ask for blood work not the "yes or no" test but the one that looks at your levels.
