What is in my prescription prenatal vitamin?

What is in my prescription prenatal vitamin?

My doctor wrote a prescription for a prenatal vitamin and specified 1mg folate.

The pills I got are yellow ovals and have "A 178" stamped in red on them.

The bottle says, "PRENATAL PLUS W/27 MG IRON AMP"

How do I know what else it has in it.  27 mg Iron is pretty clear.  But they were busy at the pharmacy - how do I know they didn't forget the folate?   Also, I would just like to know what OTHER vitamins are in there so I don't overdo any with extra supplements.

THANKS!

My personal opinion about what you need to do ask your OBGYN again about it, just to my clear what you’re taking.  My experience with pregnancy in my family is the smaller the pill the best; also without put in a side all the essentials nutrients.  Also I believe there use a DHA separately because Prenatal Vitamins on the market, when have DHA in the same prenatal pill, you miss a loot of the essential vitamins that you need.  I am sure the brand of that Prenatal Vitamin was ATABEX EC and ATABEX DHA.  They said they are the best and tolerated perfect.

Well hope this information helps you to fiend your best Prenatal Vitamin for you and your baby,
