What symptoms should I look for?

by neparker, May 22, 2006 12:00AM
I had my first dose of Clomid yesterday, and I have 4 more left... I heard of so many side effects that I am wondering about when I would start to experience them.  I've also been told after day 5 those symptoms would go away.

After the 5 days of taking clomid would shold I expect to ovulate?

OK.  I have been on Clomid for 2 cycles now. I really didnt have any side effects while I was taking the pills.  Mine came afterwards.  Starting about CD14 or 15 I expereince cramping (like period cramps - only on one side)  I got headaches a few times, this was like 4 or 5 days after the last pill.  Oh and I cannt forget the HOT FLASHES at nite!!  Wow they even wake me up they get so bad.  This only lasts until I O.  So for about a week.  I hope this helps.  I am still trying to find out for myself if these pains are an actual indication of O!!

I am now on the 4 day wait, but my fourth round of clomid.  I haven't had any other side effects except for the hot flashes, mine don't come just at night I get them during the day too.  Just bringing my son upstairs can send me into a hot flash.  I hope this helps and that you will get that bfp soon.  Baby dust to you*****************************************

Yep, hot flashes...or really, it seems like I'm hot a lot of the time, but I'm normally cold natured. I didn't experience any ovulation pain though. It seems like my eyes are dryer...either that, or it's time for some new contact lenses. No bad side effects to speak of.
