What to take to hospital?

by Waiting4myprincess, Dec 03, 2007 11:46AM
I know this question has been posted sooooooooo many times but I need to post it again. I need to know what I should pack to take to the hospital FOR ME? I already have DD's bag packed but I just can't seem to come up with stuff I need to take just for me. Can you ladies give me some advice? Not that it is getting so close (I am 38 weeks) I am starting to get nervous that I am going to go into labor and not be ready.

Thanks in advance.

What I brought and actually used...
My robe
Slippers/Socks
Chapstick
Hard candy
makeup
hairbrush
toothbrush/paste
shampoo/conditioner/soap
maternity underwear
clothes to go home in

I also packed my IPod and used it for about 30 seconds during labor....which i will not bring with me this time around.
I packed 2 nightgowns last time as well. I didn't use them as I chose to wear the hospital gown....this time around i might bring one or a pair of baggy comfy pants.

You want to be comfortable....so whatever brings you comfort....pack that in the bag!

Good luck

I actually went and bought two pair of men's flannel pajamas seeing as my twins will be born in the winter months.  I wear one now and have one packed in my hospital bag.  They are the most comfortable things I have ever worn.  I wear them constantly.  You should try them.
