What to take when cold symptoms arrive?

by trying4two, Dec 30, 2006 12:00AM
Sigh!!! I lost my paper that my OB gave me on my first visit  that lists all the meds I CAN take...I have searched this house upside down and its 5am.

I searched this forum and I found that most people said Sudafed (but not the sinus one) and Robitussen.

Anyone know what to do for a sore throat when gargling salt water doesnt help? I also have a lot of yellow nasal drainage (yeah yeah I know I could have spared you sorry).

Im in my first trimester if that matters. Any help would be appreciated.

Robitussin CF, DM, PE, Sudafed Sinus/Cold,Sinus/Allergy & Severe Cold, Tylenol Cold,Flu,Sinus,Allergy Sinus. The main thing is they don't contain any alcohol. These are ones on my approved list from my ob/gyn. If you think your sore throat may be strep, see your fam. dr. There are approved antibiotics you can take too.

Youu also don't want anything that has a antisisamine(Spelling i am sure it is wrong!)
I have used several tylenol cold and sinus meds, but I try to put it off as long as possible.....I hate taking meds when I am not prego but it is worse when I am!
