Whats Worng??

My daughter is going into highschool this year. She gets her period but usually every 3months. Is something wrong? SHes never had sex or anything either

Actually, when I was going through High School myself, I had irregular periods, so I consulted a doctor and he put me on birth control pills... that regulated my periods. The doctor told me I was over weight and the low amount of the estrogen hormone that I had... but after the contraceptives, my female hormone (estrogen) shot up and now I need no longer have to take "the pill" and I have regular periods... but my best advise is take her to a doctor to see what is hindering her regular cycles.

Sometimes it can take a while for a cycle to be regular. I have heard of younger adults going on bith control even if they are not having sex. I know with myself the first day of my period was awful and I would go home from school but when I was on birth control it helped the pain. Take her to the doctor and they will know whats best to do.
