I was just wandering when they use the term bloody show what do they mean? I am 35 weeks preggo today and this morning when I woke up I had a chunck of CM that was pink tinged. Normally how far along after that bloody show does labor begin? Thanks

Bloody show means that you start having a pinkish tinged on your underwear before labor started. Personally, it (bloody show) happened to me 3 days before false labor began. I had at least 3-4 false labors before the real happened. In other words, bloody show means that your labor will be approaching very soon but it doesn't mean that you will have a real happens. My bloody show wasn't really bad. It came out a little bit when you wiped yourself (pinkish color.) My sister-in-law was different a little bit when the bloody show happened. She said that it gushed out real bad just like a pool of water. I guess it happens differently to each individual. Best of luck to you.
