When to pack for hospital and prepare crib for baby??

(sorry to take up another post :S I know its probably way too early for me (am 24 weeks) but with DS i did everything early out of excitement so i was ready wayyyyy in advance but this time am not so much in a rush. though am impatient and dying to meet this new baby. but, when would u recommend puting up the crib and packing a bag for the hospital? am now in a smaller room and want to wait as long as possible to put up the crib. When should i begin "nesting" lol as they call it.

Hi there!  We put up our crib when I was about 26 weeks.  I just couldn't stand it anymore!  I have since washed all his clothes, organized them by month and have them hanging and ready!  I'm 33 weeks.

I think I have been nesting for two months already!!!!!!

i assemble the bassinet when i was 26 weeks and for this baby i don't think that i will do it so early. there is time, i would probably make every thing ready a week or two before the delivery.

i waited too long. had her 4 weeks early and nothing was ready. but then, i hadn't even had my shower yet. dd is 4 months and she's never been in her crib :)

I waited for too long as well and I had DD three weeks earlier.  I'd say start doing it when you're past 30 week mark.  Good luck.

i had everything ready REALLY early but i had an empty room waiting to be set up as a nursey so it was just staring at me all the time LOL... i'd say have it ready when your about 32ish weeks... in case you come abit early....

seriously pack before 35 weeks. with my last baby i figured i would go over due since i was so small throughout the pregnancy so i thought i would pack at around 37 weeks, well my water broke at 36 weeks, so at 2 am when my water broke i had to get up and pack not only my bag but the new babies bag and my older daughters over night bag, my water was leaking all over the house lol, luckliy the contractions didnt start right away and all went well, but it would have been so much less stressful if i would have been prepared

thanks guys! I think to be on the safe side I will pack at around 28 to 30 weeks?! I just be ready then for when he makes his appearance!

i packed my hospital bag at 33 weeks...the baby cot is not ready yet...we need to set it up....clothes and stuff r ready...i still have 5 weeks to go...can't wait tho!
