When will I be able to tell??

I'm new to this site...so I hope I am doing this correctly!  I had a miscarriage on 3/2/07.  I'm 22 and already have a healty 18 month old boy.  I had just found out I was pregnant on 3/1.  I don't know what made me, but I got a pregnancy test at the store and tested that night!  I wasn't even expecting my period for a week!  The docs think I was only like 3 or 4 weeks along.  I guess the thing that kills me is , why did I get the test in the first place?  We weren't trying!  If I hadn't of tested, I wouldn't have known, and all the bleeding would have just been a period to me.  I knew something was wrong the moment I looked at the positive result in the test window.  Just had that feeling u know, like something wasn't right.  

Well, I was wanting to know...I had my next period on 3/30.  My husband and I had unprotected sex all last week starting with 4/9. We aren't trying, but we aren't not trying...lol! Is it too early to take a pregnancy test?  I would be thrilled to find out I was preggers again.  Thanks for taking the time to answer!

Can I ask what brand of pregnancy test you used? In October, I received three false positives with a specific digital pregnancy test (after getting my hopes up and then dashed, I did research on the brand on line to uncover that men, neutered dogs, and tap water all had tested positive with this brand as well). It is very likely that it was a chemical pregnancy or something if the positive was a true positive. The very next month, I got my REAL BFP (six times with 4-5 different brands before verifying at the dr ... I wanted to make sure this time!).

Do you know when or if you ovulated? To put things into perspective...I had a miscarriage at about 5 1/2 weeks on 11/16. I used the OPK's to see when I ovulated next but I didn't really need them...I had ovulation pain on 11/28 and also that was my positive OPK too. So I conceived on 11/28, only 12 days after my miscarriage. I am now almost 23 weeks pregnant with a healthy baby boy! I tested positive with this pregnancy only 9 DPO, and that is after having a blood test on 11/30 and my levels were already down to 0. So anyhow, if you knew when you ovulated, you could possibly test, although I think it would be early still. Good luck!

early miscarriages are very common, and many women don't know they have them because it seems like af came. many often advise against testing too early so that you don't have to deal with the emotions that go along with a miscarriage. you may want to consider waiting until your next expected af before testing to avoid heartbreak again.  i wish you luck in ttc!

i used the clearblue easy in march...the digital one.  it was definately a pregnancy and a miscarriage bc i had my blood tested.  i had to go back every 2 days until it returned to 0.

i think i ovulated on or around friday.  i just didn't know how long after ovulation it would take to get a positive test....if in fact i did conceive.
