My hubby and are are "secretly" trying. :)
He summed it up well one day when he said we both want a baby terribly but aren't willing to openly admit it.
(He's still in school, so trying for a baby wouldn't be "prudent")

I'm from Philadelphia, PA and I'm 7 weeks pregnant as of tomorrow.  We had been trying for a long, long time and were told that it "wasn't likely" it would happen on its own and that IVF was our best chance.  Our insurance doesn't cover IVF and we really didn't know what to do (we were going to try IUI in the fall after I got my fibroids removed in July) and then "it" happened!

I'm far from out of the woods yet and would feel much better once I hear that heartbeat on Monday.  I have fibroids and a bicornuate uterus.  I don't know what I'll do if this pregnancy doesn't work out, I feel like it is such a gift from God!

You all seem like nice people and I look forward to getting to know you all better!

Chris S-G: may I ask how old are you?  - I did have fibroids removed - right tube removed - but since I am 47 needed IVF and egg donor  -after trying for 3 y. naturally- ivf than 2 misc.- after 4-5 weeks pregn. so frustrating - now I am pregn. again w/our last 2 frozen embryos but HCG is acting up since last tuesday does double properly will see tomorrow friday I am so scared again! If this one doesn't work again I 'm going to see another fertil.doc. Dr.Zouves  www.GoIVF.com seems to be the best around here and I am almost sure it is an antibodies immunity problem which damages the placenta, I guess I am too much on the net but I've learn so many things there though.Good luck to you from the bottom of my heart  - keep us posted  and take it easy no more b/d for a while to be safe.

Hi,do you already have a child? clomid is a hard treatment but works often well. I am having a hard time to keep my pregn. with IVF and egg donor. How old are you? does your husband have been tested before you start anything.

Yea--go Horns---but it is terribly hot down this way--and no rain--everyday going home there is a new patch that has burned on the side of the road--need some prayers for rain as well as the baby dust--:)

Oh yes, I remember well the lack of rain problem in S.A. and Austin.  It's weird here, because it rains almost everyday in the summer.  Around late afternoon we'll get showers for about an hour then it clears up again.  It's warm but we're still in the high 80's.  I will be in S.A. next weekend for a wedding and I hear they are alreay in the 90's...Austin as well.  I will send rain and baby wishes your way!

Hi all, I am from Singapore. So far away from most of you. Moving to Sweden end of July, my husband was offerred a new job which requires him in Sweden for 2 years.  My big plan was to get pregnant, quit my job here and then move to Sweden (we also have a 2 yr old boy). Well, I did get pregnant and just ended in miscarriage 4 days ago. Sad, but have moved on, our plan is we will try again in Sweden.

Hi everyone I am from NAS Lemoore Ca. Hubby is in the Navy. We will be here until April of next year. Then I am not sure, I would really like to go to Hawaii but hubby is thinking about going to Jacksonville FL to do some more training before he has to leave on his six month cruise in June. Oh that does not seem very far away at all. Hubby is Aaron 31 and I am Christine 30.
