Who has taken Provera and how soon did you ovulate afterwards?

Ho everyone,

Well, my doctor has put me on Provera after my m/c in Jan due to lack of af still.  who has taken this before.  The nurse told me I would not ovulate for 2-3 months after taking it.  Has anyone o'd sooner after taking the medicine?  We are so anxious to try again.  This is all frustrating.  Please let me know of your experience with this medicine.  I had seen a positive on an opk on Feb 21st and we have been ttc since the m/c stopped, but apparently, it did not happen.  I got pregnant do easily my first pregnancy, and then the 2nd one too--but that one ended in a m/c.  So, I am praying the third time we get pregnant just as easily and it is a healthy sibling for our 1st baby!!!!

Well I'm not there yet, but I also took provera for 10 days to start cycle after m/c in Jan. and no AF yet. I finished scrip about 9 days ago and today I feel some symptoms that maybe something will happen soon. I will then take clomid on cd 3-7 and should ovulate a week or so after that,usually day 15 or 16 for me. I have used this before with irregular cycles and had luck (2nd cycle +hpt, m/c) but not heard about the 2-3 month wait. I sure hope that info  the nurse gave was not correct and you get a bfp really soon!
