Why do I have two different size gestational sacks so early in pregnancy (4-5 weeks)

Why do I have two different size gestational sacks so early in pregnancy (4-5 weeks)

This is my third pregnancy and I swear I conceived in April and in May. I had a period May first. I told my husband that I feel the baby is located real high up on my left side. After my period I told my husband that I think it is still there. Anyway, we tried to conceive again and I felt both my overies throbbing (in May) Anyway, I went to the hopital and told them that I know I have more than one baby growing inside of me and of course they did not listen or believe me. The Dr. did an internal and pressed real hard where I suspected the babies to be. I got upset with her and she later appologized. Still did not listen to me. Anyway, I have since had two ultra sounds and to make a long story short ( all the run around I got from the Dr.) We have so far found two gestational sacks, one much larger than the other one and they are exactly where I told them they were. They are both up high in the corner of my uterus. The other amazing and I am sure many won't believe is that I feel them move and have for a very long time. I believe because of their location. There is a high chance that they may end up tubal. Or one anyway. Is it possible that the larger sack could be two sacks right next to each other and look like a bigger one. Or is it Superfetation? The one sack is only 4-5 weeks gestation. Anyone have a baby that high up in the corner of their uterus before and feel movement real super early? Their little bodies start to twitch really early. And if it's in a very tight opening? I have already been sent to rest and to do nothing. Another u\s in a couple of days. Blood work tomorrow and Thursday. Pls. help...very comfussed.

All I've got to say is that there is NO WAY you can feel fetal movement that early. I guess another u/s will be more telling as to whether you have one or two.

I have two! I need to know if there are three or if I am also pregnant from April and that is why the other is so large. Pls. read up on Superfetation.

When you say you have two different sized sacs and one is 4-5 weeks gestation, what size is the other measuring?

I don't know they didn't tell me. They just said that it's very large and doesn't match up with my dating. It definitly is another sack though. They haven't seen anything inside yet. I know it's in there. Thanks for your enquiring.

I asked because sometimes multiples can be 1-2 weeks behind each other in size but it sounds like yours  may have an even larger gap.  Superfetation is extremely rare.  I think it would be  more likely that you conceived twins and one stopped growing early on.  It is also a little surprising that the doctors are telling you that you "may" have a tubal pregnancy - they should be able to tell at this point w/ an US especially if one sack is at least 6 weeks.

That being said, I am not a medical professional.... just offering my opinion based on what I have read on such topics.  Keep us informed.

Thank you for your opinion. It never crossed my mind that, that could be the case. You are very right it could very well be. The larger sack is just outside of my tube which apparently is one of the worst cases because it can get very big and still errupt causing a great amount of bleeding. I don't know why they say it may be tubular. They said that they still need to rule it out. They say the one is 4-5 weeks and they don't know about the other. Except it's really large for my dates. I will keep you posted. Once again, thanks for your input. I will keep in my mind and if I get a chance I will ask about it.
