Worried about HCG levels

I am pregnant again soon after miscarrage (miscarriage),I am pretty early,maybe two to three weeks, I have been having regular HCG screenings and my HCG isnt doubling, it started at 6.3 than 7.5 and now its 8.3. Even that it isnt doubling but is going up is that a good sign, the nurse I called with my resent results didnt really know much, so Im seeking advice is everything okay.Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is that your HCG levels or your progesterone levels?

Those numbers look like your progesterone numbers.....My first HCG reading at 3 weeks was 49....which was good.

sometimes it takes those levels a while to double.  Did you have them drawn every 48 hours?  That baby has only been implanted for a couple days, by those numbers.  Give it some time :)  good luck, momttc

I guess there are my progesterone level, I had them done every two days, so it could be normal that this is happening, and just because Im early?

you usually can't even tell you are pregnant until your HCG is 50....so have them tell you what THOSE numbers are. i don't know about progesterone. if it's low they can give you supplements. Good luck!

Dude, i am so confused!  Why would they be drawing your progesterone every 2 days?  They don't do that?  Unless you weren't sure if you ovulated? normally they just pull once on day 21?  if it was a questionable number then they may pull again a little later, but the increase shows you ovulated so there wouldn't be any need to pull again.  i'm confused.

Oh and Carolyn, blood tests can pick up ANY amounts of HCG.  Only the pregnancy urine tests can't pick up until 25+...

I am guessing they are testing your hcg?  did she tell you that you are pregnant? when you went in the first time?

I guess that it is my HCG levels, I talked to the nurse and she said that they were,she said that it may be that im not pregnant again that it it left over from the last miscarrage (miscarriage), but if it was that case she said that the numbers are suppose to be going down, mine are little by little going up.  i'm really confused because they are suppose to be way higher,I dont know what to think, has this ever happened to anyone else?
