ive heard that brown blood is ok, but thats how my mc began, if it turns bright red, then id be worried, i wish you the best and hope everything is ok!

i wouldn't worry about it.  I have had that and now I am 21 weeks.  Just monitor it and if you still feel uncomfortable, call you dr.

at 12 weeks I had a brown discharge, i went to the ER and they said it was due to my husband and I having sex the the day before, it was old blood and the baby was fine... we decided to wait until after the baby is born to be "together" again...I'm now 32 weeks and have not bled since

I wouldn't be worrying atm, my first m/c started off with brown bleeding but i also had cramping.

Brown blood is ok, it's classed as old blood, id take it easy over the next few days, try to rest as much as possible, put your feet up but if you get any cramping or it changes to red id go see your doctor.

I had brown blood in the beginning of my m/c as well, then it was pink to bright red.  My back was hurting too after awhile.  If you are at all worried, I would suggest a quick trip to the ER to be checked, they will most likely do a scan to check on the baby.  They would probably classify it as a "threatened miscarriage" and tell you that early in pregnancy there is absolutely nothing that can be done, but at least you would know and have piece of mind.  I wish you the best and I hope for you it is only old blood.  Keep us updated and we are hear if you need us.  Good luck to you!

The discharge has stopped and I feel fine, no aches except for having a cold.
