I just got diagnosed with a yeast infection (very mild) and my doctor prescribed me an oral medication. I am 16 weeks pregnant and don't want to take this medication because a search on the internet revealed that there have not been much studies of this drug's effects on pregnancy. So I was wondering what everybody else did to get rid of yeast infections.
I just got over a yeast infection. My doctor told me to take the MonistatMonistat 3 Monistat 5 Monistat 7 Monistat-1 Monistat-1 combo pack Monistat-1 day or night. Either the 3 day or 7 day. The 1 day is to harsh when you are pregnant. I took the 3 day one and I got a yeast infection a couple weeks later and I had to take the 7 day one because the 3 day one didn't get rid of all the bad yeast.
Drink lots of water and cranberry juice and stay off the sugary and white flour foods. it will help a lot. You may not even have to go on the meds.
