Yeast infection question (also can be used as open forum)

by aimntrev, Jul 31, 2007 06:49PM
I am 30 weeks pregnant and have had a few yeast infections. My doctor told me I could use the Monistat 3 or 7 day treatment when I get one.

I feel like I'm getting the start of one.  Can I go buy the medicine and take it before it gets worse, or will it hurt anything if I use the medicine but it ended up not being a yeast infection?

I'm 30 weeks 4 days preggo.

Thanks for the info =)

If you dr told you it was safe for pg than i'm sure it is... but you shouldn't medicate for a yeast infection unless you really have one, because you can cause medication resist yeast if you over medicate.. That will cause you more problems in the long run..

Good luck either way..
