You know me, seems like its time for another roll call...

by Still_AndiJ, Jan 17, 2004 12:00AM
Seems like we have a few new faces and some fresh BFP's. What do you say we do another roll call to see how everyone is doing on the TTC trail. All those who are already pg, let us know how far along you are and your due dates. Anyone who has found out, let us know the sex (or your best guess) and for those TTC, let us know how things are going and when the 2 week wait starts. Also, throw in anything else such as other kids, marital status, location, etc.

Here is my info for the newbies:

Name: Andrea
Married for almost 4 years to John, 2 year old son Jonathan (not a junior), expecting second boy, Tristan around May 19th.
Location: Bremerton, WA (near Seattle)
Was a geriatric nurse in a former life (pre marriage and children) and am currently pursuing degree in Early Childhood Education for personal enrichment. Stay at home with the exception of my classes and have no plans on rejoining the workforce.

I am available to answer any questions off the forum as well, just drop me an email at AndiJ.***@**** I am a big nerd and love to research anything and everything!

Hello
My name is Angie/31 and I have been married to Bill/33 for 6 yrs.  We have a 5 yr old daughter Katelyn and would have been expecting in April but lost the baby in Sept.  I am now 6 wks pg again and due Sept 12 or so.  I hope all goes well this time.  I am from Indiana where I am working at this time.  God willing I will be quitting in July or August and will not return until the new baby is in school and then it will probably only be part time.  I wish all of you luck and it is so wonderful to talk to all of you who have all gone through a lot of the same things.  It gives a lot of hope to people when reading things people post.   Thanks

Hi

I have been around here for only about a month, but everyone is so great and helpful!  I live in England and am 21 years old.  I have not had a period since the 7th November, but all pregnancy tests are Negative.  I went to the doctors the other day (Posted further down the forum under the heading 'Doctors Visit') but she did not want to know and would not give me a blood test.  I have been leaking urine for about two weeks now, I do not know I am doing it until I feel my panties are wet through.  I am peeing constantly to, which is so unlike me because I hardly ever go to the loo.  So at this precise moment in time I have no idea whether I am pregnant or not and my GP will not help me find out.

Love

Claire xxx

Ummmm......

I am CHRISTINA....DUH....LOL

I am 23 almost 24. My husband and I have been married only 2 1/2 years and together 3 1/2. We have 2 kids, Christopher who is my son and his stepson but pretty much his real father since the other is a dead beat : /......and Nathan who is 15 months.
Dh is active army and been in almost 5 years.
I am a Certified Nurse Aide, but currently working evenings as a  team lead rep for a bill payment service in the evenings part-time for extra money sitting on my @$$.

I have been pregnant 4 times. The first miscarriage (blighted ovum) at 9 weeks in september 2001 this  was 2 months before I conceived Nathan  and they did a lap not knowing I was pregnant with nathan to find mild endometriosis. Then I had my 2nd in October 2003 at 10 weeks to find the baby stopped growing at 6 weeks.
We are currently trying for baby#3 and thats it, we want only 3 and then he will get a visectomy, or atleast we have been talking about him getting one...lol

I am on the 2ww but have a feeling something medically is wrong with me with these low back pains and right side pains I get, it might be the endo growing so we will see.

SOOOO, some of you know most of this but for those that don't ......Hello!!! :::waving:::

Hi.  My name is Michele Brown, 30 yrs old and I'm from Guelph, Ontario Canada. I'm pregnant with my first 5 weeks 4 days, which puts my EDD at 9/16/04.  Lost my first pregnancy last fall just before 7 weeks.  However, my hcg levels are much higher this time so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.  My husband and I have been married for 6 1/2 years.  I stumbled on your website a couple of weeks ago, and found it very informative and great to see other people's perspective and support.

Good Morning! I'm Heather (27) and mh DH is Jamie. We have a 5 year old little girl (Kennedy) and are trying for #2. I have severe problems with ovarian cysts. Good Morning, my name is Kirsten, husband's name is Rick, guess i'm one of the few that lives in the "west"  Salt Lake City, Utah.  I am 13 weeks with my first, I feel like I have been pregnant for years but have lost the others, fairly early on each time.  It is such a blessing to have this forum to talk about the things that happen to us, and share our feelings with people who are in the same boat.  Thank you all for sharing.

by susan40, Jan 19, 2004 12:00AM
Hi everyone.  I just discovered all of your here today!  My name is obviously Susan, and I am ttc at 40.  I've been married for 18 months.  We've been ttc for 18 months.  I've had about 3 chemical pregnancies and one situation where the embryo implanted, grew for 6 weeks and then died.  Had to have a d&c because it would not miscarry on its own. I am hoping that I am pregnant at the moment, because I had some weird bleeding yesterday that was at the right time for implantation bleeding. (If you believe that implantation bleeding exists)  Anyway, I'd love to hear from anyone who knows of someone who is 40 or above, and had a successful pregnancy after many chemical pregnancies and miscarriages.  I know they're out there, but I've never from one personally.  RE says that there's not much he can do for me other than donor eggs, because I can conceive on my own.  I look forward to "talking" to others.  Thanks.  Susan

Hi all, I am a new poster. We are from NSW Australia and have  lost our first baby at 12 weeks.(18th of December) Pretty heart wrenching stuff, but its almost time to try again.YAY. I am 29 and my husband is 32 and we are very, very ready to start a family. I discovered this site yesterday and have been reading intently ever since. We have been married for 4 years this April. Thanks for being here it's great to not feel so alone, when discussing this topic with friends it's hard to go into detail, seeing as they are all single and still partying.
Many hugs to you all

We have close friends that had a successful pregnancy but without any kind of boost from meds and such...The woman was 38 or 39 at the time hubby was around 24. She has 2 older girls, and they concieved TWIN boys! (Everyone I know has twins, glad I had my u/s and saw only one!)  She was labeled high risk due to her age,and she had to have a cesearian (SP?).  Needless to say she did have a suuccessful pregnancy and all went well.... Good luck! Jana

Hi Susan,

I am 39 and 25 weeks pregnant with a little girl - our first.  We got pregnant only 3 months into trying, and totally natural.  You probably don't want to hear that. LOL

I read a book called 'Taking Charge of your Fertility' and followed my fertility signs to the letter for best days to conceive - those days are fewer and farther apart for us than younger girls.  The first month I had a chemical pregnancy, the second month I did not ovulate, and the third month, I got pregnant for keeps.

by lynnaz, Jan 21, 2004 12:00AM
My name is Lynn.  I live in a suburb of Phoenix, AZ; originally from a small town in Northeastern PA.  I'm 22 (23 in May) DH, Adam, just turned 27.  Married a lil over a year.  We were ttc #1 for 8 months, then I got pregnant (when I stopped stressing about it!) LMP was 11/30/03 so I am 7wks3days. EDD: 9/4/04 We are both so excited, and scared, and all of those feelings you get when you find out you're going to be a parent!! I love the weather here now, but hate it in summertime. Hubby is Active duty Air Force stationed here.  We are hoping for a change of scenary soon.  When the lil one is born, I will be a SAHM, right now, I am a branch manager at a Payday Advance and Tax Service business.
