abortion threatened should i be worried....Please Help

hi, i am kinda in the same situation as some that i have read about. i went to the doctor at 10 weeks because i was having i little spotting, which i heard was ok in some situations, so the doctor said i seemed fine but she had to send me to ultra sound and she wanted me to take it easy, but when i read my paper  that i was to take to the ultra sound doctor it said threatened abortion and two weeks later i woke up bleeding,i mean kinda alot. i was scared because this did not happen with my first child so i went to the er and they told me that most likely i would lose my baby i was heartbroken and tears could not stop flowing, then they came back and said i may be able to save the baby if i was to bed rest and pelvic rest, i bleed for two days and no more since i have been on bed rest for three days now. the er doctor told me i had to be on total bed rest but when i went to the doctor he said that after three dyas of no sign of bleeding i could resume light activities i am not sure who to listen to but i hope i dont lose my baby i want to know if i could get any advice from someone on what should i do and if it happened to you what was the outcome

Unfortunately, there is nothing you could do to prevent a m/c if it's meant to happen. The only thing that can help you right now is to relax, rest more and stay positive.
I was in the same situation in May. Had brownish-red spotting, went to the ER. I was at 6 weeks pregnant, there was a HB 120 and everything seemed fine. The doctor said it was a thretened miscarriage and told me to stay at bed. And I stayed, but on the very next day I lost my baby, not even 24 hours after I heard the heart beat...
But you should know that bleeding dosen't defenately mean that you're going to m/c. Some women bleed and have a healthy pregnancy. That's why all I can say is say a little prayer, try to rest and wait for the next ultrasound. And keep us posted. Best of luck, V.

I am so confused. My doctor told me that my due date is January 5, 2007 and that I am 10 weeks pregant. Last month when i found out i was pregnant I was spotting and had light bleeding, the only problem was that it lasted three weeks. I have no pain and the bleeding stopped. They thought it was an ectopic pregnancy at first but they said they did not see anything in the tubes during my last u/s. He also said that there was no sign of a fetus at all, and they think it is a miscarriage but for the past month, they have been monitoring my hcg levels and they keep rising.I am going back for another u/s on the 16th. I seen another persons due date on here be the 11th of jan. and they are only 6 weeks pregnant. How can I be 10 weeks, and my hcg is rising but right now it is only at 2181. I honestly dont believe im 10 weeks pregnant. According to my ovulation period i would only be about 6 or 7 weeks. Is it possible that i am only six weeks and that the fetal pole can show in a few weeks??? PLEASE I NEED ADVICE!

My last period was march 30, but I started bleeding like a normal period on april 9, but that lasted for three weeks...

your so lucky over there! here in england, you go to the hospital bleeding and say you think you are aborting theyl tell you to go home and thats the end of it. as long as you dont have a pain on your side your shooed away!
