about c-section

I just wondered,what is the max on c-sections.I have had 8 and have had a desire to have another child,but not if it going to be hazardous.

What does your doctor think? My aunt had 5 and when she found out she was pregnant for the 6th her doctor told her she had better not have any more because her uterine wall was so thin after having all the kids (and c-sections) that it could rupture at any time; and if THAT happened there would be about a 30 minute window to save her life! She had her 6th baby safe and sound, but I would ask a doctor before you chance it after 8...(by the way, WOW, 8?)

Wow-I was concerned about having a 2nd section! Did you elect to have babies 2-8 through section, or were they all necessary?

Although the first was becaue I had an 11 pound 6 1/2 ounce baby.I think the subsequent c-sections were for financial gain.I was never given a chance for a vbac.

WOW on your 11 lbs 6 oz baby, and further WOW that you weren't given the option.
Either way, I hope you get to deliver another healthy baby.
You're obviously being blessed with lots of babies!
