after a cerclage

i had a cerclage put in at 13 weeks after having 2 preterm babies at 20 weeks and then another one at 21 weeks my question is.   is it safe to have a orgasm after getting the cerclage.

These types of questions would be best suited for your doctor, who knows your entire medical/obstetric history, and would be in the best position to give his/her advice on this issue.

i am so sorry hear of your lost i know what you were going thru it is very hard to lose a baby i was a mess when i lost mine. i am so far 15 weeks today so i am hoping after getting that cerclage that eveything will work out

thanks, it's very tough especially with two at the same time, one was still born the other died an hour later bc hospital refused to do anything so even though it was a less than 1% aiden would have lived i would feel better if they would have tried something to save him but they did not. i hope your pregnancy goes well and keep me updated with the cerclage, and if works.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss....I had twins at 26wks, they survived and are healthy 9 year olds now....but after that, I had a second trimester loss at 20wks......I am now pg with baby #5 with a cerclage that was placed at 14wks.....I was on complete bed rest and absolutely NOOOOOOOO sexual activity.....NONE!!!!! I am now 35.2wks and off bed rest at 32wks.....I will be having a scheduled c-section in 19 days on August 11th YAY!!!! the cerclage worked for me, but I listened to my dr. and did what needed to be done, it was hard in the beginning, but the outcome is well worth the wait and abstaining, there are other ways to please DH :D
